![]() ![]() ![]() The band kept it in “Jive” territory once again for the first set closer with “Jive II.”Īlso similar to night one, Goose delivered a big jam to open the second set, a 25-minute rendition of “Earthling Or Alien?” The band then offered Dripfield’s “So Ready” ahead of “Travelers,” the latter originating in the band’s 2020 virtual Bingo Tour. Night two (Saturday, August 13) commenced with “Elizabeth” ahead of an original arrangement of “Atlas Dogs.” The quintet then topped 20 minutes with “Echo Of A Rose.” Next, Goose stretched out substantially on “Yeti” ahead of another Legend Valley debuted song, “Turbulence & The Night Rays,” this time from Mitarotonda’s Vasudo catalog. The quintet would open the second set with the biggest jam of the weekend, taking “All I Need” deep with a whopping 36-minute excursion which included elements of of Nina Simone’s “Sinnerman.” Goose also set sail for +17-minutes on “The Old Man’s Boat” followed by “Creatures.” The band concluded the second frame with the Animal House soundtrack number “Shama Lama Ding Dong.” Goose then returned for a well-jammed “Tumble” to wrap up night one at The Chrysalis. The quintet then offered nearly 15-minute versions of “Butter Rum” and “Lead The Way” before offering the sole Dripfield, which arrived on June 24, track of the evening in the form of “The Whales.” Goose delivered a nearly 18-minute exploration on The Who classic “My Generation” next before closing out the first set with “Jive I.” Goose - guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, keyboardist/guitarist Peter Anspach, bassist Trevor Weekz, drummer Ben Atkind and percussionist Jeff Arevalo - kicked off night one (Friday, August 12) with “Butterflies.” The band recently debuted the song from Anspach’s project Great Blue at Legend Valley in Ohio. The band embarked upon a number of lengthy jam excursions during their return to the road. ![]() Goose launched the second leg of their Dripfield Tour over the weekend with a two-night run at The Chrysalis adjacent to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. ![]()
